Steelers 12/22

If there is one thing to be said about the Steelers, it's this: Ben Roethlisberger is a fighter. This might be more easily said since he is the leader of a potent offense, but he is a fighter (as opposed to being a hapless Safety on a depleted defense).
Five hundred plus yards must have been scoffed at after we first drafted Ben due to the fact that Steelers have traditionally been a run-first team. It also might have scared people back in '04 because in 2003 the Steelers went 6-10 from being a pass-first team with Tommy Maddox.
The fact of the matter though, is that Roethlisberger is at the caliber of a Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, and if the Steelers want to continue to win, they must depend on the passing game to set up the run and not vice versa.
Some plays that need to be brought back to fruition: The RB screen (With Roethlisberger's pump-fake this is a perfect set-up), Gadget plays of any kind and More crossing patterns with Holmes and Wallace.
Draft Needs: Ndamukong Suh as a viable trade upwards in the draft to replace the aging and often ineffective Hampton, O-lineman and more O-lineman, a shut-down corner, 3-7th round backup QB to replace Batch, etc.

Things I am not a fan of...

-Quoting song lyrics in any sort of social network status, the song in all likelihood does not relate to you, nor was it probably used in the right context
-While on the topic of social networking status's writing that your getting drunk or high, especially if your under the age of 21 is especially annoying. Chances are though, that person usually has one or more underages
-Spiders
-People who don't read, or think that is stupid to do so
-People who like to argue about politics (are you really going to change the other person's mind? Lets be honest here)
-Freshman who get on the bus to go one stop (in reality it takes the bus longer to get there than it would have if said person would have walked the two blocks)
-Rowing crew
-Stories involving vampires and teenagers, and those who obsess over their fictitious characters
-People who are fans of other sports teams, especially from Philadelphia. This is not because of a PSU rivalry, it is because when your football team has zero rings, and your other teams are chronic underachievers, you earn no right to brag or to talk trash on other teams. Case in point, I would not brag about the steelers at such a point in time as now.
-Arguing in general
-Beer
-Blaming things on being drunk
-Sex and the City
-Not being able to find things
-Things left unsaid
-Not saying what you really think (however I'm perfectly okay with doing this myself, I prefer to come off as completely average and boring)
-People complaining about homework, studying, or work in general (at this point you signed up for whatever it is you are doing, tough shit for you)
-People with underdeveloped tastes in music, books, or pop culture. People should never half-ass anything and shame on anyone who does
